This was advice I received from my nutrional therapist who is highly knowledgable when it comes to gut and digestive issues as well as aruveyda and other cultures that have profound insight into the diet and nutrition. Her knowledge is extensive when it comes to a variety of many health conditions, alternative ways of eating, supplements and herbs as well as Eastern and Western approaches to health and wellbeing.
I followed her advice for a only a week and already felt the full effects kicking in. The Aloe vera juice alongside the supplements played a significant role in aiding my gut health, alongside eating at regular times, a good probiotic supplement, and gentle exercise.
“For a while make sure to cook your food properly. Make sure that vegetables are properly cooked through and easy to digest. Don’t focus too much on raw food. For example, have stir fries and some cooked (white) rice with a nice sauce. Fry the vegetables in organic ghee. Have some stewed apple and gluten free oats with almonds, cinnamon and ghee for breakfast. Or a dal soup.
Don’t mix too many ‘health’ foods in one meal.
Take Solgar Vegan Digestive enzymes with each main meal.
Take Pukka Triphala Plus at night before sleep
Take Pukka Aloe vera juice 3-5 tbsp in the morning before food”
